My back is stooped from scholarship,

My eyes are dimmeded by history's words.

Surrounded though I may be by learning,

I still cannot compare with nature's perfection.

....... The rose is a world imagination cannot imagine.

A messenger from the orchard where the soul lives.

...... A rose is what grows from the work the

silence that closes in the shade, a bud.

Ancient and indigenous traditions teach us that we are part of the universe on a cellular level and that all of us are light and we are sacred. These are truths in the indigenous way, and our scientists are beginning to remember that Nature is always consulted when seeking the truth. As light beings, we are part of the cosmos, not separated from it.

Being in direct communion with Nature we gain a worldview that recognizes power, beauty, love, spirit, and life in all things. It is an experiential worldview—everything is literally experienced as being alive. Everything is energy and so everything contains power, and we experience all forms of energy as conscious beings.  By participating with Nature as a teacher and experimental partner, we find that healing is not relegated to just our physical bodies. True healing must include healing our relationships with other human beings and our connections with all other living creatures with whom we share the planet. When there is imbalance in our lives and separation from Nature, we will experience dis-ease, or illness, within our bodymind and spirit.

This energy asks us to follow the law of anyi (pronounced I-nee), or reciprocity. This is a law that governs the entire universe. If you give, you must receive; if you receive, you must give. And you cannot give what you don’t have. When you are in anyi, you are in alignment with the universe, and it will give back to you tenfold.

"No creature is fully intself till it is, like the dandelion, opened in the bloom of pure relationship to the sun, the entire living cosmos"
~~D.H. Lawrence~~
